Wilderness Farm Camps 2024

Join in the summer fun on the farm this year.  Kelli Foreman will be leading each camp and having youth join in the day to day running of the farm.  Daily chores, educational breakout sessions, horse riding, wilderness adventures, hands on learning (think cheese making vermaculture, and more) and the day ends at the dairy milking the cow and goats.  

Session 1 : Baby Goats & Animal Husbandry 
Ages:  Entering 7th-9th Grade 
Date:  May 28 - 30

Embark on an immersive farm camp experience like no other! Interact and bottle feed newborn baby goats, learn to milk, and explore daily farm activities like collecting eggs and caring for a variety of animals (sheep, pigs, chickens, horses, mule, cows, ducks, rabbits and more). Get your hands dirty mucking manure, carrying water buckets, and fully engaging in farm life.  

There is a focus on animal husbandry and caring for farm babies.

This camps moves a bit slower and caters to the skill level of campers.  Safety is first for Kelli and also making sure campers get hands on experience.

There's a great rhythm that comes with the small farm life. In this camp we will hit our stride doing farm chores, making farm fresh food, learning how to preserve, ferment, use sourdough, compost and more.  Campers will learn some of the tricks and trades of farm life and have a great time!

Girls Wilderness Farm Retreats

An Overnight Intensive Farm Experience 

This is a time to be completely immersed in farm life from sun up to . . . well the sun doesn't really go down.  This is a one of a kind experience.  

Girls Retreat I  - Almost Full! 
Ages: Entering  6th - 9th grade

Time:  1:00pm drop off, 6pm pickup the last day

Cost : $475

Get ready for full immersion into the farm life.  Campers will spend their days doing farm chores, learning about farm life, processing farm fresh items, making fresh from the farm meals and products and working in the gardens.  Evenings will be spent trail riding, sitting around the fire, and getting to bed so we can get up to do middle of the night goat chores and early morning milking.  Campers will stay at Kodiak Baptist Mission’s Campus two nights.

Baby Goat Experience

Barn Birthday Parties 

8-10 (human) kids = $150 for 2 hours

This includes a barn tour, petting zoo, farm games and a chuckwagon snack.  Depending on the season baby goat feeding and egg collecting.  

10-15 (human) kids = $175 for 2 hours
